Your answers (work days, times, after-work plans, dog help, dog age and size) are processed in your browser only. If you save your week, it stays in your browser's local storage on this device.

When you share your week, your answers are encoded in the link itself. Anyone with the link can see that week. We do not store shared weeks.

The Coat Coach (3D dog and advice cards) works without an account. Your dog's name, self-check and notes are kept on your device until you sign in.

With an account we store:

• Account details: your e-mail address, or your name and e-mail from Google if you sign in with Google.
• Dog profile you fill in: dog name, doodle type, coat type, birth date, last groom, and optionally your name, phone number and groomer.
• Groomer reports you choose to save.
• A log of each AI coat check (time and coat zone) to enforce the limit of 3 checks per day.

Legal basis: performing the service you request (your account). Each account can only read its own data.

When you run a coat check, your photo is resized in your browser and sent once to our AI provider (via the Lovable AI Gateway) to generate advice. We do not store the photo on our servers; a small thumbnail stays on your device for your history.

Please only photograph your dog's coat — avoid people, faces or other personal information. The advice is general coat care, not veterinary advice.

We record anonymous product events (for example "week completed" or "report shared") to learn which steps help. These contain no names, e-mail addresses or answers that identify you. No advertising or third-party tracking pixels are used.

• Lovable (hosting, Lovable Cloud database and login, AI Gateway).
• PostHog (EU servers), for anonymous usage statistics without cookies or a visitor ID.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• The AI model provider behind the AI Gateway, only for the coat check photo.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU, under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Account, dog profile and saved reports: until you delete them or your account.
• Coat check log: used for the daily limit; deleted together with your account.
• Data on your device: until you clear it in your browser.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its processing. E-mail us and we'll respond within one month. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
